Incoming Freshman Activities
Incoming freshmen will receive information regarding summer and pre-season activities upon acceptance to St. Francis DeSales H.S. This mailing will include information on an Incoming Freshmen Summer Basketball Camp that is held at the school in early June, as well as material regarding summer competitive events with other high schools in the form of team camps and shootouts.

Pre-season activities involve an 8 week program for non-fall sport athletes that includes open gyms, weight training and conditioning. This information will be provided to students within the first few weeks of the academic year.

Opportunities for Elementary and Middle School Athletes
Summer Camps
The basketball program at DeSales holds two sessions of summer camp, the first in early June and the second in early July. These camps are for students entering grades 3-8 and take place in the school gym from 8am-12pm.

Stallion Summer League
The basketball program also holds an annual summer league for students entering grades 5-8 that is held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from mid June to mid July. Teams and Divisions are established to appropriate grade level and the league consists of no practices. Games are held between 4pm and 8pm on these nights and the season concludes each year with a postseason tournament and All-Star game.
