The annual St. Francis DeSales High School Open House is on November 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  Details about the application process will be available at that time, and so will our faculty, staff, and coaches. If you have a current 9th, 10th or 11th grade student interested in transferring, you are welcome to join us as well.

Q. Do freshman applicants have to take an entrance exam?

A.  All 8th grade students applying to St. Francis DeSales High School are required to take the St. Francis DeSales Entrance Exam. Please inquire about Entrance Exam make-up dates by visiting the Admissions Process page on the website by clicking here.

Q. When will my student find out if he/she has been accepted?

A.  For the 2025-2026 school year, acceptances will begin in early 2025, to those students whose files are complete.

Q. Should my student apply even if we're not Catholic?

A.  St. Francis DeSales High School admits students from a variety of religious and ethnic backgrounds.

Q. Do you offer financial aid?

A.  St. Francis DeSales High School recognizes the value of a Catholic Education and makes every effort to assist our families in meeting tuition needs. Please visit the school's website sfdstallions.org for additional information.

Q. What happens if my student wasn't able to attend the Open House?

A.  We hoped all prospective students would have been able to join us at our Open House to meet our faculty, staff and coaches and see our campus. However, we understand that there may be other pressing matters for your family. Campus tours are available. Please contact the Admissions Office to schedule your tour.

Q. Are there other dates to visit St. Francis DeSales High School?

A.  Definitely!  Become a Stallion for a Day - an opportunity for 7th and 8th grade students to experience a day in the life of a Saint Francis DeSales Stallion! Observe and participate in classes, meet our award winning faculty and staff, tour the school with a DeSales student guide.
